Five marks.
One brand.

Five favicon directions, shown at the five sizes a browser actually requests. Each variant is rendered as inline SVG against the Water Book palette. Pick one, or pick a hybrid — these are conversation starters.

01

Serif Monogram

The Fraunces italic ligature flat on an ink plate. Pure editorial. Reads at 16px because the ink contrast is total.

Stacked + Horizon

R over V with a hairline horizon between them. The horizon nods to the ocean and to the editorial spread layout.

03

Wave R

A bold R whose bowl is replaced by a stylised wave curl. Initial and ocean fused into one glyph — works as a logomark in isolation.

Wave Mark

No letters. A single fluid sine on ink — the most abstract, most graphic option. Behaves like a "pure mark" brand (think Nike swoosh, not Penguin).

Coral Ring

Concentric ripple of coral dots radiating from a centre node. References the Cassini coral-fingerprint imagery and ocean-as-system thesis. Holds at 16px because the silhouette stays a circle.
